What Is Bouldering?

Bouldering can be done in the gym in designated bouldering areas and anywhere else in the gym up to a safe height. Bouldering is a form of rock climbing that is performed without the use of ropes or harnesses. Most bouldering climbers use climbing shoes to help secure footholds, chalk to keep their hands dry, and bouldering mats to prevent injuries from falls.

Belay Service

The belayer is the person who holds the other end of the rope to keep the climber from falling. If you have not reserved the gym for a group but still need belay service, one of our trained staff members will be able to belay at a rate of $15 per hour.

Are you a first timer?

All first time climbers are required to go through a belay safety check with one of our trained staff members. The first time user fee includes the cost of the belay safety check, full gym access for the entire day, and a rental harness.
